Maruti Suzuki rises on introducing additional safety features in Tour S

Maruti Suzuki India is currently trading at Rs. 7466.25, up by 1.90 points or 0.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 7464.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 7475.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 7542.00 and Rs. 7464.00 respectively. So far 17019 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9922.85 on 24-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6324.35 on 28-Jan-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7479.50 and Rs. 7143.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 226585.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.10% and 7.69% respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India has introduced additional safety features in Tour S. Tour S is now compliant to ‘AIS-145 Safety Norms’. As part of these additional safety features, Tour S is now equipped with ABS with EBD, Driver Airbag, Reverse Parking Sensor, Speed Alert System and Driver and Co-Driver Seat belt Reminder.

This will result in price increase in all variants of Tour S model. Depending on features introduced across variants, the Ex-showroom price in Delhi shall vary from Rs 5,60,480 to Rs 6,60,588. The same is effective from April 17, 2019.
