FIIs were net buyers of Rs 987.81 crore in index futures and options segments on August 17

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 987.81 crore in index futures and options segments on Friday, August 17, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 279.34 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 708.47 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 166.11 crore, while they bought stock options worth Rs 42.28 crore.
