JSW Steel’s crude steel production for July 2012 increased by 13% at 6.76 lakh tonnes against 5.99 lakh tonnes in July 2011. The steel maker has reported the production of rolled products - flat at 4.85 lakh tonnes an increase by 15% on year on year basis and that of rolled long products at 1.42 lakh tonnes, an increase of 24%.

JSW Steel is part of the JSW group which, in turn, is a part of the O P Jindal group. JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
