Birla Corporation to lay-off employees at Auto Trim division in West Bengal

Birla Corporation has decided to lay-off employees at the company’s Auto Trim division located at Birlapur in West Bengal on account of lack of orders. The company has declared lay-off on August 28, 2012.

Birla Corporation operates four division cement, jute, vinoleum and auto trim. It has eight manufacturing facilities located in Pune, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gurgoan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
