Wipro reports 15% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

The company has reported 4.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 2014.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1922.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.44% at Rs 12818.90 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 12157.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 14.73% in its net profit at Rs 2402.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2093.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 4.99% at Rs 15566.60 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 14827.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
