The scrip opened at Rs. 130.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 130.90 and Rs. 127.70 respectively. So far 194173 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 146.19 on 14-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 106.75 on 13-Feb-2019.

NTPC has conducted a massive plantation drive at Sipat Super Thermal Power Station to protect environment and to spread green cover in and around the power plant. Under this programme, 2000 saplings will be planted in association with Chhattisgarh Van Vikas Nigam. Total cost of plantation drive will be borne by the NTPC.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
