Axis Bank rises on getting nod to raise funds via various means

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 735.15, up by 8.10 points or 0.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 729.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 732.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 738.40 and Rs. 720.60 respectively. So far 88355 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 826.55 on 06-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 524.95 on 20-Jul-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 765.60 and Rs. 720.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 192313.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 71.49% and 10.38% respectively.

Axis Bank has received approval for raising funds up to Rs 18,000 crore through an issue of equity shares, depository receipts or convertible securities. The Board of Directors of the bank at its meeting held on July 20, 2019, approved the same. The fund will be raised subject to shareholder's approval to the fund raising proposal through postal ballot process.
