Kotak Mahindra Bank reports 23% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2019.

The bank has reported 32.71% rise in its net profit at Rs 1,360.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,024.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 19.57% at Rs 7,944.61 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 6,644.29 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 22.72% in its net profit at Rs 1,932.21 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,574.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 22.48% at Rs 12,129.56 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 9,903.56 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
