Date: 02-08-2019Coal India (CIL) has reported the provisional production and offtake performance of the CIL and its Subsidiary companies for the month of July 2019.
Coal production stood lower by 5.1% at 38.50 million tonnes in July 2019 compared to 40.58 million tonnes in July 2018.
Coal offtake was lower by 2.9% at 46.82 million tonnes in July 2019 compared to 48.19 million tonnes in July 2018.
Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
