UltraTech Cement has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2019.

The company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1198.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 598.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.Total income of the company increased by 15.59% at Rs 9948.45 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 8606.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 91.38% in its net profit from continuing operations at Rs 1208.03 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 631.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.89% at Rs 10308.79 crore for Q1FY20 as compared Rs 8972.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
