Omkar Speciality Chemicals inaugurates research center at Maharashtra

Omkar Speciality Chemicals has set up a research center at company's unit No. IV (F-10/1, MIDC, Badlapur, District-Thane, Maharashtra State for carrying out innovative research in the field of development of chemical processes and technologies for manufacture of new molecules.

Further, the company had already undertaken research work for manufacture of Anti HIV Drugs by innovative routes of synthesis. The company's efforts in this direction have been recognized by Harvard University - USA and they have appreciated the steps taken by the company in this regard. The company has received the letter dated August 01, 2011 with respect to this development.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of speciality chemicals viz., selenium compounds, iodine compounds, molybdenum compounds etc. and pharma intermediates viz., Potassium Iodate, Bismuth Ammonium Citrate, Bromoform etc.
