Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) is reportedly planning to open a plant in Flint, Michigan, to make vehicles including mail delivery trucks for the US market, a move that could create up to 2,000 jobs. The company already produces its off-road Roxor vehicle at its manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan, which is at full capacity.

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
