ONGC reports 5.6% fall in crude oil production in Q1FY20

Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has reported 5.6% fall in its total crude oil production at 5.869 MMT in Q1FY20 as against 6.216 MMT for the same quarter previous year. Of the total crude oil production, the company’s Crude Oil production by its Joint Ventures stood at 0.714 MMT and production by the company stood at 4.792 MMT.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
