Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has been recognized as the Best in ‘Operational Performance Excellence’ in the Maharatna & Navaratna category, as per Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) PSE Excellence Awards for 2018.

The company was also adjudged the runner-up in ‘Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability’ in the same category. The awards were handed over during the 9th PSE Excellence Awards 2018 on August 29, 2019 at New Delhi.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
