Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported 24% fall in sales at 52,904 units in August 2019 as compared to 69,377 motorcycles sold in August 2018. During August 2019, export of number of motorcycles increased by 205% to 4,152 units from 1,363 units in August 2018.

The company’s sales of vehicles with engine capacity up to 350 cc decreased by 32% at 44,694 units in August 2019 against 65,712 units in the same period year ago. However, the sales of its vehicles with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc increased by 124% at 8,210 units as against 3,665 units in August last year.
