Energy Efficiency Services (EESL), a joint venture of four PSUs including NTPC, Power Finance Corporation, Rural Electrification Corporation & Power Grid Corporation, is planning to procure 2 lakh units in the second phase of its 'super-efficient air conditioning (AC) programme' by March 2021. The procurement in February and March next year is likely be to the tune of Rs 600 crore.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
