Date: 11-09-2019Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is planning to invest more than Rs 13,000 crore in exploring oil and gas by drilling over 220 wells across Assam in the next five years. The company has signed MoU with the Assam government for enhancing its exploration and production activities in the state.
ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
