MTNL enters into partnership with Welingkar Institute

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL), state owned telecom firm, which operates in Delhi and Mumbai, has inked a deal with Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research to train talent specifically for the telecom industry. The telecom firm’s Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management (CETTM) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Welingkar’s for the same.

The MoU will see the launch of two autonomous programmes - Post Graduate Programme in Telecom Management (PGPTM) which will run for 11 months and Certificate Course in Telecom Marketing and Management (CTMM) which will run for 3 months. CETTM will provide the technological expertise for the programmes while Welingkar will groom them in management skills.

CETTM provides extensive training to corporates, students and the employees of MTNL in telecom switching, transmission, wireless communication, telecom operations and management.
