VA Tech Wabag to close down Dubai subsidiary

VA Tech Wabag has received an approval for the closure of company's subsidiary - VA TECH Wabag (Gulf) Contracting LLC, Dubai. The board at its meeting held on August 12, 2011 has approved for the closure.

Recently, VA Tech Wabag was in talks with 3-4 overseas companies for acquisition this year which will help the company in entering into new geographies along with strengthening its presence. Currently, the company had its presence in 19 countries and was expected to start the due diligence in one or two months.

VA Tech Wabag is a multinational player in the water treatment industry. It offers complete life cycle solutions including conceptualization, design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, construction and O&M services.
