InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has started daily direct flights from Kolkata to Yangon in Myanmar as the country's largest airline continues with its international expansion. Myanmar is the fifth Southeast Asian destination for IndiGo.

The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travellers who are on the lookout for new and affordable flying options between the two countries. The fare is Rs 5,999.

InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
