NTPC is all set to start commercial operation of Unit-1 of 800 MW of Lara Super Thermal Power Station (2 x 800 MW) with effective from September 30, 2019.

With this, the commercial capacity of Lara Super Thermal Power Station, NTPC and NTPC group will become 800 MW, 47325 MW and 55786 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
