Physical rubber prices show bullish trend on Monday

Physical rubber prices showed a bullish trend on Monday. Supply concerns owing to widespread rains and a firm closing in domestic and international futures, kept the buyers active in almost all counters.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety continued to improve to Rs 177/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 175/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 169/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of September delivery increased to Rs 180.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 178.57, while October delivery closed at Rs 175.60 compared to its previous close of Rs 173.39 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
