Dabur India trades with grip on the BSE

Dabur India is currently trading at Rs. 130.20, up by 0.75 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 129.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 129.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 130.80 and Rs. 128.75 respectively. So far 35631 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 132.05 on 10-Sep-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 92.05 on 01-Feb-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 132.05 and Rs. 127.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22666.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.67% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.40% and 6.93% respectively.

Dabur India, has roped in Bollywood actor Karishma Kapoor as brand ambassador for its air freshener brand Odonil. It is planning to launch a new campaign, which seeks to highlight the impact of nature inspired fragrances of Odonil blocks. The company, through Odonil brand, is present in the three key categories of the air freshener market that are blocks, sprays and pluggy.

Dabur is one of India’s largest consumer goods companies, which has a market capitalisation of $4 billion. The promoter family has diversified investments across financial services, including an Indian life insurance joint venture.
