Tech Mahindra launches three 4G laboratories: Report

Tech Mahindra has reportedly launched three laboratories which is fully equipped with Long Term Evolution technology. The software services provider has set up one laboratory each in Delhi, Pune and Bangalore. The company is planning to work together with those companies who are ready to launch the services in the country.

Long Term Evolution (LTE), commonly called 4G, is a standard for wireless communication of high-speed data for mobile phones and data terminals. In India, 4G (which is 4-10 times faster than 3G) licences were issued to six operators, with four of them actively looking to deploy the services.

Recently, Tech Mahindra and Royal KPN N.V. (KPN’) entered into an international partnership in order to further improve KPN’s efficiency and effectiveness in its IT environment and operational processes and to jointly address strategic growth areas.
