Axis Bank has informed that Som Mittal, Independent Director of the Bank has ceased to be an Independent Director of the Bank, with effect from the close of business hours on Monday, 21st October 2019, upon completion of the maximum permissible tenure of 8 continuous years, under Section 10A (2A) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949. On behalf of all Employees and the Directors of the Bank, it would like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions rendered by Som Mittal during his tenure as an Independent Director of the Bank and place on record its deep appreciation for the insightful perspectives and suggestions provided by him at the meetings of the Board/ Committees of the Bank.
