Date: 22-10-2019Axis Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.
The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 112.08 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 789.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 21.14% at Rs 19333.57 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 15959.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a net loss of Rs 18.14 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 878.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank increased by 20.36% at Rs 19,886.36 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 16,522.38 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
