Asian Paints reports 67% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Asian Paints has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported 64.48% rise in its net profit at Rs 790.52 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 480.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.15% at Rs 4392.18 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 3987.38 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 66.85% in its net profit at Rs 842.14 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 504.74 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.16% at Rs 5155.82 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 4680.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
