Coal India Ltd.

Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi has asked Coal India to fast track its ambitious one billion tonne production target and look to achieve the goal by 2023-24. Earlier, as per the company, it would meet the target by the fiscal 2025-26.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
