NTPC has commenced commercial operation of Unit-1 of 660 MW of Tanda Super Thermal Power Station, Stage-II (2 x 660 MW). With this, the commercial capacity of Tanda Super Thermal Power Station, NTPC and NTPC group has become 1100 MW, 47985 MW and 56446 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
