Power Grid Corporation of India reports 9% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Power Grid Corporation of India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported a rise of 9.37% in its net profit at Rs 2,527.14 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,310.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.68% at Rs 9,183.18 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 8,689.95 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 9.49% in its net profit at Rs 2,571.10 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,348.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 6.22% at Rs 9,260.46 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 8,718.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
