NTPC reports 38% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

NTPC has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported a rise of 34.48% in its net profit at Rs 3,262.44 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,426.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.21% at Rs 23,658.23 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 22,485.96 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 37.61% in its net profit at Rs 3,408.92 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,477.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.25% at Rs 25,274.55 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 23,566.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
