Hindalco Industries report 33% fall in consolidated net profit in Q2

Hindalco Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported 74.76% fall in its net profit at Rs 78 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 309 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 8.04% at Rs 10,156 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 11,044 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 32.73% in its net profit at Rs 974 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,448 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 8.50% at Rs 29,944 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 32,726 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
