ONGC reports 37% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported 24.22% fall in its net profit at Rs 6263.13 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8264.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 10.55% at Rs 27177.95 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 30383.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 37.16% in its net profit at Rs 5486.55 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 8730.83 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 10.46% at Rs 103236.60 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 115295.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
