-1.92 (-3.86%) Suzlon Group-subsidiary - REpower Systems SE, has signed a contract with WSB Neue Energien GmbH for the delivery and construction of 22 REpower MM92 wind turbines. The turbines, each with a rated power of 2.05 megawatts (MW), are intended for the Taczalin project near Legnica in the Polish province of Lower Silesia. The construction and commissioning of the wind farm, which will have a total power output of 45.1 MW, are scheduled for completion in August 2013.
In August 2011, Dresden-based WSB commissioned a wind farm near Opole, its first in Poland. Now, 15 REpower MM 92- turbines supply around 41,000 households with eco-friendly electricity. REpower has already set up two service support points in Poland for the maintenance of its turbines installations there.
