Vistara has partnered with Nelco for inflight data services, which are expected to be rolled by the full service carrier shortly. Nearly five years after starting operations, Vistara-a joint venture between Tatas and Singapore Airlines-is also likely to be the first domestic carrier to provide inflight connectivity within India.

Nelco was established in 1940 and is a part of the leading business house - the Tata group. The company is focused on system integration and product management for industrial controls, power, electronics, defence electronics, VSAT networks and automation.
