0.20 (0.05%) Tata Power has inaugurated its fourth ‘All-Women’ Customer Relations Centre (CRC) in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. All the functions at the CRC, including security, will be managed entirely by a team of ten women personnel.
These women have been well-trained for operations such as process new applications, monthly bill payments and other customer related services. The new CRC is a part of Tata Power’s efforts to strengthen gender diversity and economic empowerment of local women. It is expected to serve approximately 1 lakh consumers annually in that area and receive a footfall of approximately 15000 consumers for payment and non-payment services per month.
