Axis Bank reports 7% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Axis Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2019.

The bank has reported a rise of 4.53% in its net profit at Rs 1,757.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,680.85 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 7.53% at Rs 19494.87 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 18130.42 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported a rise of 6.52% in its net profit at Rs 1,884.00 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,768.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 7.21% at Rs 19975.99 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 18633.12 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
