Eicher Motors falls after its motorcycle division reports 13% decline in January sales

Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 19785.00, down by 265.70 points or 1.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 20050.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 19888.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 20349.65 and Rs. 19595.00 respectively. So far 2102 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 23427.75 on 26-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 15196.95 on 26-Aug-2019.

Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division has reported 13% decline in sales at 63520 units in January 2020 as compared to 72701 motorcycles sold in January 2019. During January 2020, export of motorcycles increased to 2228 units from 1829 units in January 2019.

The company’s sales of models with engine capacity up to 350 cc decreased by 13% at 59200 units in January 2020 against 67915 units in the same period year ago. The sales of its Models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc also decreased by 10% at 4320 units in January 2020 as against 4786 units in January last year.
