RailTel Corporation of India has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics (BEL) for cooperation in the field of cloud services, IoT, e-governance, smart cities, networks for defence projects, mission critical communication systems for domestic and international markets. The MoU was signed at the DefExpo which is underway in Lucknow.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
