Tata Power has collaborated with Social Awareness Advocacy & Development (SAAD) Foundation to organise a Safety awareness drive at Dharavi - Dhobi Ghats (Dharavi Transit) and Social Nagar.

This activity was held as a part of its 'Ghar Ghar Me Jan Jagruti Abhiyan' which involves street plays and interaction with the people residing in that area. It sensitized over 100 to 125 residents about the adoption of safety measures to be taken in vicinity of transmission lines. It also stressed upon the importance of using ISI marked Electrical Equipments, importance of ELCB-Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers and Equipment Earthing, as well as avoiding overloading of Electric Circuits etc.
