Eicher Motors shines as its JV unveils BS-VI range of trucks, buses at Pithampur manufacturing facility

Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 17722.15, up by 716.00 points or 4.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 17006.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17500.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17835.20 and Rs. 17409.00 respectively. So far 3716 shares were traded on the counter.

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has unveiled its entire BS-VI range of trucks and buses at its Pithampur manufacturing facility in Indore, ahead of the April 1 deadline of the implementation of the new emission norms. The company also launched its innovative BS-VI solution, EUTECH6, which offers higher fuel-efficiency and improved productivity. The upgrade of the product portfolio to BS-VI is in line with company’s vision to modernise trucks as well as the country's transportation sector.
