NTPC to set up 2 new units at Talcher Thermal Power Station in Odisha

NTPC is planning to set up two new units of 600 MW each at Talcher Thermal Power Station in Odisha with an investment of Rs 7,400 crore.  The Odisha government has granted approval for setting up two new units at Talcher Thermal in coal-rich Angul district. Fifty percent of the power generated from these units will be for Odisha.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
