Coal India shines on the BSE

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 152.60, up by 8.70 points or 6.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 143.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 145.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 155.25 and Rs. 142.35 respectively. So far 438958 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 270.90 on 06-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 127.00 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 169.30 and Rs. 127.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 95183.34 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.05%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.06% and 2.82% respectively.

Coal India has asked its subsidiaries to take proactive steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus. In a bid to mitigate impact of novel coronavirus outbreak, the company has also asked its employees to avoid large gathering and stressed that if inevitable, the same should be held via video conferencing. All the employees have been advised to visit the website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for various precautions and actions to be taken with regard to Covid-19 outbreak.
