Reliance Industries’ promoter Devarshi Commercials LLP has offloaded shares worth over Rs 11,000 crore in the firm through open market transactions on March 25, 2020. Devarshi Commercials sold shares of the company through two separate transactions. The firm sold 5.80 crore shares at Rs 950 per equity share and 5.80 crore shares at Rs 949 per equity share.  On the other hand, another promoter entity of the company, Samarjit Enterprises LLP, bought these shares at the same price.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
