Jindal Steel & Power accepts resignation of MD
Date: 04-10-2012Jindal Steel & Power has informed that the board of directors of the company has, through resolutions passed by circulation, has constituted nomination and remuneration committee comprising three independent directors namely Arun Kumar, A K Purwar and Hardip Singh Wirk.
Further, the board accepted resignation of Naveen Jindal from managing directorship of the company from close of business hours of September 30, 2012. He has been appointed as whole time director from October 01, 2012 and will continue as chairman of the company. The company appointed of Ravi Uppal as managing director & CEO of the company from October 01, 2012.
