Grasim Industries Ltd.

Grasim Industries has raised Rs 500 crore on a private placement basis. The Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 17, 2020 has approved and allotted 5,000, 5.90% Fully-Paid Unsecured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Rs 10 lakh each. These NCDs have been rated ‘AAA (Stable)’ by CRISIL. The Debentures are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the Bombay Stock Exchange of India (BSE).

 

Grasim Industries is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. The company’s businesses comprise viscose staple fibre, cement, chemicals and textiles. Its core businesses are VSF and cement, which contribute to over 90% of its revenues and operating profits.
