NTPC’s wholly owned subsidiary North Eastern Electric Power Corporation has commissioned commercial operation at Unit-1 of 150 MW of Kameng Hydro Electric Project (4x150 MW) with effect from June 17,2020. With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC group has become 61,936 MW.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
