Physical rubber prices improve further on Thursday
Date: 05-10-2012Physical rubber prices improved further on Thursday, on fresh buying and short covering despite a weak closing on the futures market.
Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety rose to Rs. 196/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 195/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs. 190/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs. 189.50/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of October delivery slipped to Rs. 195.10 compared to its previous closing of RS. 195.98, while November delivery closed at Rs. 191.11 compared to its previous closing of Rs. 192.79 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
