PFC rises on sanctioning loans of over Rs 1 lakh crore in FY20

Power Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 90.10, up by 0.15 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 91.60 and Rs. 89.20 respectively. So far 409633 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 138.80 on 28-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.20 on 27-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 91.90 and Rs. 85.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23800.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.32% and 4.68% respectively.

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has delivered a sound financial performance with loan sanctions of more than Rs 1 lakh crore along with loan disbursements of about Rs 68,000 crore in 2019-20. The highlight of the year was the disbursement of Rs 11,000 crore in the last week of March 2020, despite the nationwide lockdown in place to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

PFC is central PSU under Ministry of Power and India's leading NBFC.
