InterGlobe Aviation’s (IndiGo) CSR arm -- IndiGoReach has been awarded the 7th eNabling North East Development Award 2019-2020, for improving the livelihood of Tribal communities from Assam- Meghalaya border areas through multiplication of spices. The IndiGoReach women empowerment initiative (IndiGo Shakti) strives to increase income generation opportunities for 1,500 women farmers in 24 villages of Kamrup and Ri-bhoj districts. The award was declared in an online webinar attended by Govt functionaries, corporates, civil society groups, academicians, and other invited participants.
